Early life and education 

Rachael Harris was born in Worthington, Ohio. She graduated from Worthington High School in 1986. She later attended Otterbein College, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1989.Harris pursued acting and moved to New York city. However, after finding little success she moved to Los Angeles, California. She joined the Groundlings comedy troupe in Los Angeles and became a teacher.
